The Harvard Gazette featured two Gen Ed faculty describing new courses they have developed for Gen Ed. Kathleen Coleman's Gen Ed course, Loss (Gen Ed 1131), prepares students for the losses they will inevitably suffer, develops empathy, and illustrates how the arts can be comforting in times of loss. Higher Education: Students, Institutions and Controversies (Gen Ed 1039), taught by Manja Klemenčič, explores a topic of immediate relevance to students lives from multidisciplinary perspectives. Gen Ed 1131 and Gen Ed 1039 will be taught in Fall 2019.
